“Too often showrooms are just showrooms, and I really wanted to have a space that made Michael Taylor Designs distinct,” says Lee Pierce, president and owner of Michael Tayler Designs. “In this case, I feel Suzanne Lovell did a fabulous job. Her concept was to have the space feel like the inside of a house, which was brilliant. You travel from one room to the next to experience the furniture, lighting and accessories. Every detail – from the floor to the millwork – was a very focused and collaborative effort. Even the stone façade, which I think is very welcoming, conveys this. My only complaint is that I want to live there!”
