Czech porcelain artist, Milan Pekar has spent countless hours trying to perfect various types of glazes. A lot of testing, remixing and experimenting is routine, from firing at different temperatures to the application of different oxidation techniques.
As an avid connoisseur of porcelain, Pekar uses vases which are simple in shape and proportion. He feels that the more simple the shape, the more impact the glaze will have.
The finished look is exceptional!
This Small Crystalline Vase is hand-crafted with porcelain and a custom-made glaze. No two vases are the same.
Tall Crystalline Vase has organic green, blue and yellow coloring and patterns.

The artist in studio… 3 years ago, he became an assistant at Prague Academy of Arts and Design, led by fellow Czech designer Maxim Velčovský.
