We’ve come to appreciate the phrase “Made in Italy,” we know, without doubt, that means superior quality and craftsmanship. Zambaiti Parati is no exception; the high-end wallpaper designer, founded in 1973, continues to amaze with their progressive and forward-thinking designs.

Recently, Zambaiti Parati debuted a collection in collaboration with Automobile Lamborghini. Explaining it best, Zambaiti Parati’s creative team said, “For the development of the collection we immersed ourselves as much as possible in the vibrant and luxurious vibe that distinguishes the Lamborghini automobiles. We took inspiration from their lines and materials and colors, working in continuous dialogue with the rest of the automotive company. This collaboration has led to an innovative product in the interior design world, with strong sense of modernity, dynamism, and three-dimensionality.”

This is the Zambaiti Parati’s second collaborations, as they draw upon the specific aesthetic styling of the Sant’Agata Bolognese-based car manufacturer. The two companies found it easy to collaborate because of their shared belief in the “essence of modernity and strong design.”

Zambaiti Parati was thrilled to work with the revered automotive company, initially in January 2019 and most recently in February 2021. There is no denying that this latest collection will push decor trends to the limits; modern and thought-provoking at its best.

The beauty in this collaboration is that it reflects the trends and tastes found in both the high-end furnishing and the car industries. In such, they employ new materials; for example, carbon fiber and metals with varying finishes. All of these innovations were made possible because of the 2017 opening of Lamborghini’s Centro Stile. The design center was inspired by the luxury car company’s details of their automobiles’ materials and parts. No different that other Zambaiti Parati designs, the 3-D and tactile effects are omnipresent. The thickness of the wallpaper is distinctive and reflects the technical materials used; making us reflect upon the commonality to Lamborghini’s superior engineering.

Collaborations are not unique to Zambaiti Parati; the company also joined forces with Elie Saab and Trussardi. The Elie Saab collaboration came about via the Lebanese designer’s desire to work on luxury interiors. Under Saab’s watchful eye, the artistic director generated wallpaper inspired by the brand’s most exclusive collections. In addition, working with Trussardi allowed the two historic and Bergamo-based companies to produce a “refined yet simple line of ‘easy elegance’.” The designs created are truly classical patterns with a modern element.
