About this project
This 15,000 sq ft oceanfront penthouse in Naples, Florida was a complete interior renovation, with the building’s unique kidney-shaped footprint requiring extensive architectural customization. Light wood flooring, shiplap, rope and woven leather provide a textural backdrop for a unique collection of fine art and collectible design. The result is an inspired environment for family and friends that is chic yet informal.

We worked closely with designer and woodworker Caleb Woodard as he created a pair of monumental hand-carved doors in solid walnut. Suzanne stands with the doors after installation.

We immediately printed the sketch at full size to review with our client. In the lower right corner is the carved sample that Caleb supplied for color approval.
Caleb’s daughter with the finished doors as they were preparing to deliver from his studio in Tennessee to Naples – yes, he delivered them himself!
