About this project

Four separate units at The Residences at The Miami Beach Edition were gutted and combined to create a residence perfect for entertaining. The minimalist expression of interior design serves as the backdrop for a stunning and idiosyncratic contemporary art and design furniture collection that conveys the Client’s distinct personality.

The Client, who is an avid music lover, asked SLI to incorporate the best quality sound system into the design of the home. With a minimalist approach to the interior design, we wanted to give the client the ability to listen to music and watch TV in the public great room area but keep the AV equipment concealed when not in use. Taking advantage of the 16’ ceiling height, we designed an enclosure for the AV equipment with an 8.5’ tall and 14.5’ wide door which raises up to expose a 98” TV and a world class Steinway speaker system with a click of a button.
